Photographer Stacy Marshall comes from background in journalistic and live action photography. Serving as production
photographer on over 40 live shows led Marshall to assemble her current series Lightning
in a Bottle.
It is the
unique interaction between performers and with the audience, intrinsic to a live show, that drew Marshall's eye to the
subject.
While the material may be repeated nightly, each
individual performance is singular, never to be repeated again. It's her satisfaction in capturing these moments
that Marshall hopes to share.
